Sonic Adventure
Jun. 11th, 2022 03:28 pmI recently played through Sonic Adventure 1 and most of 2 and had a lot of fun! I liked Sonic games quite a bit as a kid but was never able to dive into "universe" the way I wanted.
The SA games are just delightful (and hilarious). The critics are right though SA1 is buggy and slightly infuriating. But what game of that time period isn't one or both of those things? It did seem like the devs spread themselves thin with all the campaigns in SA1 but I truly love that aspect of the game (even if Amy only gets 3 action stages when she deserved more).
I'll take a buggy game made with passion and ambition over a polished but dull AAA title anytime.
